Meet Our Team


Bud Syme

Bud Syme started in the Telecommunications consulting business in 1989. He began helping clients with their phone bills and saved clients hundreds of thousands of dollars. With the government breakup of the telephone companies, he started representing long-distance companies, then regional local providers. Today, TCG represents almost all local providers in the country for local dial tone, Internet, and MPLS. TCG also works with outstanding VoIP providers, data centers, and Cloud service providers.

Mark Hall

Mark has been in Data Communications and Telecommunications since 1999. Beginning with Network Access Systems, which was a new business-class internet and wide-area-network service provider based in Herndon, VA, he designed and sold solutions for customers in the Central Virginia and Tidewater areas. In 2002, he joined Net Telcos, a data center and wide-area network services provider in Glen Allen, VA. After working with Telcom Consulting Group as a sub-agent starting in 2003, Mark came on board full-time in 2006, and has considerable experience in voice and data carrier services, VoIP, and Cloud services.

Rick Schweikert, a skilled consultative sales executive and project manager, has worked in Telecommunications and Business Intelligence Software Solutions for 20+ years. He harnesses innovative technology in order to integrate solutions and complete project objectives on time and within budget. An accomplished professional, Rick delivers significant value to clients by guiding them through the full sales lifecycle, from exploration to post-implementation support.
